My Experience with Camp & Retreat Ministry: I first started spending weeks at Camp Penn sleeping in the infirmary before I was old enough to eventually attend as a camper and counselor. I met my wife when we were both elementary campers at Camp Penn, and many years later, we married in the Camp Penn Chapel. Professionally, I have lead adventure camps, tech camps, and traditional camps before I was called back to the Susquehanna Conference to be the Director of Program at Camp Penn.
My favorite things about being involved in Camp & Retreat Ministry are: seeing that programs, buildings, and faces may change, but God doesn’t. Camp Penn, and all of the Conference Camps, have such a rich history of bringing young people closer to Christ, who remains constant. I am excited to serve a ministry that has been so important in shaping my life.
Things I like to do with my family: My wife, Kristen, and I love to be outside. We hike, climb, and canoe with each other as much as we can. We are quite competitive and like to play a lot of new board games. We also have a large extended family and take a lot of weekend trips to keep in touch with everyone.
Things I like to do in my free time: I enjoy fishing, golfing, and have recently started biking.
